What ARE OMBRE BROWS?

Ombre brows, also known as ombre powder brows or shaded brows, are a semi-permanent makeup technique used to enhance the appearance of the eyebrows and lasts up to 3 years.
This technique involves creating a gradient effect on the eyebrows, where the color is lighter at the beginning of the brow and gradually darkens towards the tail.
The procedure is done with a rotary pmu tattoo machine to deposit pigment into the upper layers of the skin in a series of tiny dots or pixels.
ARE OMBRE BROWS A Tattoo?

Ombre Powder brows are often confused for your traditional tattooing because of the machine used, although very similar they are different.
The Pigments used in PMU are less concentrated and come in a wide range of BROWNS to match actual eyebrow hair color, we NEVER use black. The needles are also not penetrating as deep as a traditional tattoo needle would into the skin. We are slightly gliding on the skin to create “pixels” rather than any harsh lines or streaks.
Ombre Powder Brows and most PMU require an aftercare as this is a form of cosmetic tattooing and skin must heal. Everyone’s body heals at a different pace but most healing occurs anywhere between 10-14 days and is as follows….
What IS PRE-CARE & AFTER-CARE LIKE?

You will be cleansing your brows & applying healing ointment twice daily - morning and night. During this time you must avoid wearing makeup on your brows, tanning, swimming (pool and ocean) doing activities that will make you sweat like exercising or going in the sauna.
You are healing an area that has been cut, so your skin’s pores are exposed and are more prone to infection if the area is not kept clean. Following these instructions are very important to the results of the brows.
